Ace Mite is the pet dog of Bat-Mite (DC) and never appeared in the comic book but is in the Capstone’s DC Super-Pets Character Encyclopedia.
Spot is Atom’s (DC) dog and never appeared in the comic book (Capstone’s DC Super-Pets Character Encyclopedia).
Krypto (DC) is Superman’s dog and is more cute and animalistic in Capstone’s DC Super-Pets Character Encyclopedia than in the TV show or comic book.
Krypto the Super Dog was a TV show generated about a dozen DC super pets and they are more intelligent, more heroic and less cutesy than the Capstone versions. Finally there are the comic book versions of the Capstone and TV show versions. Krypto the Super Dog was a TV show and presents a more heroic version of Krypto than the Capstone version.
The comic book version has super intelligence for a dog but certainly can’t carry on conversations like the cartoon versions (DC Who’s Who V1 #13).
Krypto the Super Dog presented a very serious version of Ace the Bat-Hound (DC).
The comic book version of Ace the Bat-Hound first appeared in Batman V1 #92 and was used the same way a police man would use a police dog.
The TV show has the Dog Star Patrol which is reboot of the comic book Space Canine Patrol Agents.
